Spain Park falls in consolation bracket play

The Spain Park Jaguars fell to Hillcrest 9-5 in consolation bracket play at the 2013 Baptist Health System Hoover Bucs Spring Break Classic March 28.

Spain Park took a 3-0 advantage in the first inning, but Hillcrest took the lead with a 6-run second inning.

Mason Duke took the loss for the Jaguars allowing six runs on seven hits in three innings of work.

Will McDonald hit a home run in a 1-for-3 performance with two RBIs. Jon Sumner added a 1-for-2 effort with two RBIs.
