Pelham’s Lowery holds off Spain Park

Pelham High School senior Thomas Lowery held a powerful Spain Park offense to two hits in a 3-2 Panther victory April 2.

Lowery had 11 strikeouts with eight walks while allowing two runs on two hits in seven innings of work in the victory.

Chase Brashier led Pelham with a 1-for-2 effort with a solo home run. Hunter Stovall added a 2-for-2 performance with a RBI and a run.

Trey Hawker took the loss for Spain Park (15-13) while allowing three runs on nine hits with two strikeouts and a walk. Peyton Walsh finished 1-for-3 with a double and a RBI.
