Warriors sweep Prattville

The Thompson Warriors swept past Prattville in an area doubleheader April 5.

The Warriors (32-8) began the night with a 4-2 victory. Peyton Johnson pitched seven innings while allowing two runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and a walk. Mel Harwell led the Warriors with a 2-for-3 effort with two RBIs.

Thompson ended the day with a 10-1 rout of Prattville. Mason MacDougall went five innings and allowed a run on four hits with five strikeouts and a walk in the win. Trey Matherson went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
