Late Briarwood rally falls short

The Briarwood Christian Lions scored five runs in the sixth to even their game against Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa, but fell 9-8 April 6 at Oak Mountain High School.

Cameron Adams took the loss for Briarwood while allowing eight runs on eight hits in three innings with three strikeouts and three walks.

Daniel Robert led the Lions with a 1-for-3 effort with a RBI and two runs scored. Will Dyson brought home two runs while batting 0-for-1.
