Gillespie throws one-hitter against Spain Park

The Pelham Panthers handed the Spain Park Lady Jags an 11-0 area loss led by Whitney Gillespie inside the circle April 9.

Gillespie had 10 strikeouts and allowed just one hit in the shutout.

Kristian Foster led Pelham with a 3-for-5 performance with three RBIs. Caitlyn Sapp went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored.

Julie Knight took the loss for Spain Park allowing six runs on 11 hits. Mary Tedder had the only hit for the Lady Jags and finished 1-for-2.
