The following are incident and offense reports from municipal police departments from March 19-April 4:

 

Alabaster

 

March 25

-Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 17 at Kent Dairy Road (highway, street). Confiscated were small plastic bags with white residue and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine.

-Shoplifting from 320 South Colonial Drive (department store). Stolen and recovered were women’s tops valued at $51.96.

-Possession of amphetamine from 50 Kent Stone Way.

-Harassing communications from the Alabaster Police Department (residence, home).

-Harassment from victim’s residence (residence, home).

-Domestic violence – harassment from the kitchen (residence, home).

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 100 block of Lake Lane (residence, home).

 

March 26

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 900 block of Burnt Pine Drive (residence, home). Confiscated were methamphetamine, alprazolam, carisoprodol, methocarbamol, a marijuana pipe, a meth pipe and mechanical postal scales.

-Criminal trespass second degree and theft of property first degree from the 200 block of Cloverdale Circle (commercial). Stolen were copper tubing valued at $4,000, plumbing tools valued at $10,000 and damaged was a fence in the amount of $400.

-Possession of marijuana second degree from the Maylene Post Office (highway, street). Confiscated was marijuana.

-Property damage and leaving the scene of an accident from Interstate 65 (highway, street).

-Property damage from Petsmart (parking lot, garage). Damaged was a Mitsubishi Montero in the amount of $500.

-Domestic dispute from the 100 block of Acorn Circle (residence, home).

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 1500 block of Applegate Circle (residence, home).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property from the 100 block of Newgate Road (residence, home). Stolen were firearms valued at $300.

-Harassment – domestic incident from the Alabaster Police Department (department store).

 

March 27

-Illegal possession of prescription drugs from the 1400 block of Smokey Road (highway, street). Confiscated was gabapentin.

-Information only from the 1600 block of King James Drive (residence, home). Damaged was a door frame in the amount of $1.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property from the 7800 block of Highway 17 (residence, home). Stolen were a wallet valued at $20, a credit card, $200 in cash and an Alabama driver’s license.

-Trespassing notice from Amy’s Hallmark (commercial).

-Theft of property third degree from Walmart (department store). Stolen was merchandise valued at $49.88.

-Burglary and theft from residence from the victim’s residence (residence, home). Stolen were an LCD TV valued at $400, an iPad valued at $300 and a DVD player valued at $30.

-Shoplifting from Lowe’s Home Improvement (department store). Stolen and recovered were building materials valued at $12.72, electrical pliers valued at $42.98, a saw blade valued at $2.47, a ring terminal valued at $6.50 and a saw blade valued at $2.47.

March 28

-Damage to property from the 1800 block of Smokey Road (highway, street). Damaged was a 2006 Acura TL in the amount of $1,125.

-Theft of property from Chandler Health and Rehab (other, unknown). Stolen was computer software/hardware valued at $1,000.

-Property damage from Stadium Drive (highway, street).

-Miscellaneous offenses from the 100 block of Lucas Lane (residence, home).

-Information only from the Alabaster Police Department (government, public building). Reported was a Chevrolet Silverado.

-Harassment from the victim’s residence (residence, home).

-Possession of marijuana second degree and driving under the influence of a controlled substance from Little Caesar’s pizza (parking lot, garage). Confiscated were marijuana, a shotgun and a pistol.

 

March 29

-Burglary third degree and theft of property second degree from the 200 block of Cloverdale Circle (commercial). Stolen were building materials valued at $2,500.

-Identity theft from the Alabaster Police Department (residence, home). Stolen was a tax return valued at $6,500.

-Possession of marijuana second degree from County Road 87 at Asplundh (parking lot, garage). Confiscated was marijuana.

-Property damage from America’s Thrift Store (department store).

-Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia first offense from 236 Interstate 65 (highway, street). Confiscated were marijuana, a scale and propranolol.

-Miscellaneous theft from Belk (department store). Stolen was merchandise valued at $69 and merchandise valued at $59.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia from the 240 mile marker of Interstate 65 (highway, street). Confiscated were clonazepam, diazepam, methadone hydrochloride and a syringe.

-Open door from the 9200 block of Highway 119 (commercial).

 

March 30

-Drug paraphernalia –second offense from Walgreens (drug store). Confiscated was a glass smoking pipe.

-Possession of marijuana second degree and possession of dangerous drugs from Interstate 65 (highway, street). Confiscated were marijuana, amphetamine salts and hydrocodone.

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 200 block of King James Court (residence, home).

-Reckless endangerment from Target (highway, street).

-Identity theft from Sam’s Club in Lake, Fla. (specialty store). Stolen was $4,375.83.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication from Interstate 65 southbound (highway, street). Confiscated were methamphetamine and a glass pipe used to smoke meth.

-Theft of property from Publix (supermarket). Stolen and recovered were hair color valued at $8.99, hair color valued at $6.99, Revlon colorsilk valued at $5.69 and cough medicine valued at $5.69.

-Information only report from the 400 block of Heathersage Road (residence, home).

-Using a false identity to obstruct justice from Interstate 65 South near the 236 mile marker (highway, street).

-Theft from residence from the 1000 block of Tahiti Circle (residence, home). Stolen were lawn and yard equipment valued at $510 and lawn and yard equipment valued at $450.

-Harassing communications from victim’s residence (residence, home).

-Property damage from Waffle House (restaurant). Damaged was a structure.

-Domestic violence third degree from the Publix parking lot (parking lot, garage).

-Found property from Books a Million (specialty store). Recovered was a 10 round mag valued at $40.

April 1

-Criminal mischief from victim’s residence (residence, home). Damaged was a structure in the amount of $499.

-Domestic violence third degree from victim’s residence (residence, home). Damaged was a Chevrolet Impala in the amount of $550.

-Burglary and criminal mischief from Scrubs 4 Less (specialty store). Stolen was a cash register valued at $150 and damaged were double steel doors in the amount of $2,500.

 

Calera

 

March 21

-Pubic intoxication and carrying a concealed weapon from the 500 block of County Road 304 (parking lot, garage). Reported was a Ford F450.

-Criminal mischief – damage to public property from 9758 Highway 25 (other, unknown). Damaged was a restroom sink in the amount of $150.

-Failure to appear from 10947 Highway 25 (government, public building).

-Failure to appear from 425 Sixth Avenue South (government, public building).

-Death investigation from Waterford Cove Drive (residence, home).

-Theft of property third degree – shoplifting from 5100 Highway 31 (department store). Recovered were a Miller cap valued at $10, black gloves valued at $25, cutting pliers valued at $14, a University of Alabama lanyard valued at $4 and a USB charger valued at $15.

-Agency assist from 66 County Road 800 (parking lot, garage).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property second degree from the 300 block of County Road 306 (residence, home). Damaged was a Ford Expedition in the amount of $500 and stolen was an HP laptop valued at $900.

-Failure to appear from 10947 Highway 25 (government, public building).

-Incident from the 5100 block of Highway 31 (parking lot, garage). Reported were a Porsche automobile and a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

-Simple assault – family from the 600 block of Meriweather Drive (residence, home).

 

March 24

-Recovery of property from the 5100 block of U.S. 31 (supermarket). Recovered were a wallet valued at $20, $51.25 in cash, a driver’s license, a Social Security card, a check book and two debit cards.

-Criminal mischief – damage to private property from 16th Street (residence, home). Damaged was a black mailbox in the amount of $50.

-Harassing communications – general from the 100 block of Merimeadows Drive (residence, home).

 

March 25

-Criminal trespass – first degree from County Road 4 (residence, home).

-Criminal mischief – damage to public property from 9758 Highway 25 (other, unknown). Damaged were a sheet rock wall in the amount of $100 and a partition in the amount of $50.

-Lost property from the 8000 block of U.S. 31 (highway, street). Stolen were a black Samsonite suitcase valued at $50 and miscellaneous documents.

-Harassment – family from the 100 block of Dunwar Drive (residence, home).

 

March 27

-Property damage from the 16900 block of Highway 25 (highway, street). Damaged was a Honda CRV.

-Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from 16th Street (supermarket).

-Property damage from 4720 U.S. 31 (bank). Damaged were a drive-through awning and pillars in the amount of $3,000.

-Two counts of failure to appear from 10947 Highway 25 (government, public building).

-Domestic incident from the 1400 block of County Road 304 (residence, home).

 

March 29

-Animal bite from the 100 block of Oakwell Street (residence, home).

-Forgery second degree – checks and theft of lost property second degree from Kensington Manor (residence, home). Stolen were a driver’s license, a Social Security card and a $40 check.

-Theft of property third degree – shoplifting from the 5100 block of Highway 31 (department store). Stolen and recovered were miscellaneous grocery items valued at $93.

-Counterfeiting – passing or circulating from the 9100 block of County Road 22 (other, unknown). Recovered was a $20 bill.

-Forgery second degree – counterfeiting from the 200 block of Meriweather Lane (residence, home). Recovered was a check.

-Harassment from the 900 block of 10th Street (residence, home).

-Incident from Waterford Lake Drive (highway, street).

 

March 30

-Theft of property second degree from the 1500 block of 20th Avenue (residence, home). Stolen was an outboard motor valued at $1,000.

-Aggravated assault – knife from the 8100 block of Highway 31 (parking lot, garage).

-Abandoned vehicle from Interstate 65 near the 228 exit (highway, street). Reported was a Nissan Altima.

Damaged was a 1988 Ford in the amount of $300 and stolen were a purse valued at $100, a check book, $20 in cash, Percocet pills valued at $32, Social Security cards and iTunes gift cards valued at $35.

-Minor in consumption of alcohol and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the parking lot of Therapy South (parking lot, garage). Confiscated was a pipe with suspected marijuana residue valued at $15.

-Theft of property from the 1900 block of Plaza Pines Mobile Home Park (residence, home). Stolen was a hand truck valued at $100.

 

April 1

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from 2176 Pelham Parkway (highway, street). Confiscated were Adderall valued at $40 and hydrocodone valued at $150.

-Rape from Jonathan?s Mobile Home Park (residence, home).

-Property damage from the 9000 block of Helena Road (highway, street). Damaged was a Toyota Highlander in the amount of $250.
