Warriors blank Stanhope Elmore

The Thompson Warriors held Stanhope Elmore to two hits in a 6-0 shutout victory April 9.

Jake Walters led Thompson (33-8) to the win with 11 strikeouts and six walks while allowing just two hits in six innings. Drew Avans pitched an inning for the save with two strikeouts.

Heath Haskins led the Warriors with a 2-for-3 effort with a home run and four RBIs.
