William Thomas Vincent, age 85, of Columbiana, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on April 18 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Rev. Gene Hitchcock officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Gardens. Visitation will be April 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mr. Vincent was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbiana. He was a Sunday School Teacher. He was a retired Major with the United States Marine Corp with 32 years of service. He was awarded the Bronze Star with combat distinguishing device. He was also awarded the World War II Victory Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Metal, Vietnam Service Medal with five stars. Vietnam Campaign Medal with device organized Marine Corp, Reserve Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with palm.

Mr. Vincent is survived by his wife, Nancy Vincent; children, William Gregory Vincent and Robert Vincent (Kim); grandchildren, Ryan Vincent (Robin), Allison Davis (Justin), Alex Vincent, Braden Vincent and Ellianna Vincent; and a host of other family and friends.
