Calera downs Vincent

The Calera Eagles erupted for seven runs in the sixth inning for a 15-5 victory over the Vincent Yellow Jackets April 16.

Kymber McGiboney led Calera batting 4-for-5 with a double, four RBIs and two runs scored. Charley Clark added a 4-for-4 effort with two doubles, three RBIs and a run. Somer Roberson pitched six innings and allowed five runs on five hits with two strikeouts and nine walks in the win.

Courtney Barber took the loss for Vincent allowing 15 runs on 16 hits with three strikeouts and five walks. Destanie Howard went 1-for-3 with two RBIs while Makalla Odom went 1-for-3 with a double and a RBI.
