Celebrate the Fourth by liberating a pet in need of a home!

Life, liberty, and the Pursuit of Adoptions! We the people, of Shelby Humane Society, in order to form a more perfect union for approved adopters and the deserving pets of our shelter do ordain and establish $17.76 adoption fees the entire month of July. Our adoption fees will also be waived for all active duty Military and Veterans.

Meet Dots, a 1-year-old male Coonhound/Treeing Walker mix. This sweet boy loves to play, but won’t hesitate to lay down for a good belly rub or scratch behind the ears.

Valentine is a 2-year-old female domestic shorthair mix. This sweet momma cat did a wonderful job nurturing her kittens, and is now in need of her forever home. This loving girl would be a great addition to any family.
