COLUMBIANA — A woman was assaulted in her home on Main Street in Columbiana over the weekend.

Columbiana Mayor Stancil Handley said the assault did not appear to be a random act. It appeared that the victim was specifically targeted, Handley said.

Columbiana Police are investigating the incident and will release more information after speaking with the victim.
