Parents of children attending Alabaster schools can now view a stop-by-stop list of the school bus routes for the upcoming school year on the Alabaster City Schools website.

The list can be viewed by visiting Alabasterschools.org and clicking on the “Transportation” link in the “Departments” tab.

The website includes lists of every bus stop serving Creek View Elementary, Meadow View Elementary, Thompson Intermediate, Thompson Sixth Grade Center, Thompson Middle and Thompson High schools. The lists also include pickup and dropoff times for each bus stop.

Students will ride newly rebranded Alabaster City Schools buses during the upcoming school year. Alabaster City Schools Operations Coordinator Jeff Atkins recently said about 30 former Shelby County School System buses have already been rebranded for Alabaster City Schools, and said all buses should be prepared “a week or two before school starts.”

Since Alabaster City Schools began working with the Transportation South company to rebrand the buses, school district officials have parked the updated buses in front of several city school campuses.
