HARPERSVILLE – Alabama 76 has been reopened after sheriff’s deputies closed the road this morning because of an overturned truck and debris on the highway.

Sheriff’s deputies closed Alabama 76 around 9 a.m. after a semi-truck overturned at the intersection of Alabama 76 and Shelby County 79, according to a Shelby County Sheriff’s Office press release. The truck was hauling bagged fertilizer, which got on the road after the truck overturned.
All debris has since been cleared and the road has been reopened, according to the press release.
