The Vincent Yellow Jackets travelled to Talladega County Central Sept. 27, taking down the Fighting Tigers, 34-26.

Michael Gilham led the team passing, going 12-of-24 for 203 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Rodney Groce scored two touchdowns on the ground, earning 115 yards on 19 rushes. Jace Green caught six passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

The Yellow Jackets racked up 352 total yards.

The win moves Vincent to 3-2 on the season. After a three game road trip, the Jackets will return home to face Victory Christian in a region matchup Oct. 4.
