Hoover Police investigating man’s death

HOOVER – Hoover Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man discovered Nov. 24 in an underdeveloped wooded area off Elvira Road, or County Road 269, in Shelby County.

Hoover Police spokesman Capt. Jim Coker said in a news release that the victim appears to be a male, and Hoover detectives are investigating the manner and circumstances of the death. The victim’s identity has yet to be released by authorities.
