John Lucian Rush Sr., age 92, of Columbiana, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014. Funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Feb. 1, at First Baptist Church of Columbiana with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial followed in Columbiana City Cemetery. Visitation was from noon-1 p.m., Feb. 1, at First Baptist Church of Columbiana.  Bolton Funeral Home directed.  Mr. Rush was an active and longtime member and Deacon at First Baptist Church of Columbiana.

Mr. Rush is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn.

He is survived by his children, LeeAnn Atchison, Diane “DeeDee” Strickland, Johnny Rush (Becky), Kenny Rush (Sherry); 10 grandchildren; 11

great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
