FROM STAFF REPORTS

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office anticipates “road conditions to be hazardous in various locations” as the latest winter storm delivers light snow in nearly three-fourths of the county.

“Please use caution. If travel is not necessary, please avoid the roadways throughout the night,” a Facebook post from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reads.  “We have reports from the Shelby County EMA that temperatures will rise above freezing tomorrow. Therefore, we expect roadways to improve by mid-morning.”

South Shades Crest Road in Helena is hazardous, according to the Shelby County website.
