From STAFF REPORTS

On March 21, a group of girls from Vincent Middle High School were gifted with a special treat – one of their favorite authors (and probably people), Anna Kathryn Davis, joined library media specialist, Kelley Deason, and eleven girls for a night to remember. During her time with the girls, Anna kept the girls in stitches – jumping from her novel-based game-show type trivia to a grand read-aloud of her favorite passages and, in secret, a scene from her next book.

Through laughter, a few tears shed in joy and a pillow fight that ended in near disaster (two whole Band-Aids, though nothing major), the night of a lifetime was a roaring hit for these students who, when Ms. Davis had to leave, begged her to come back again and again. It is a night that will go down in history as one of the greatest events at VMHS, and the one that these girls will remember forever.
