MONTEVALLO—Montevallo First Baptist Church will host a living last supper Sunday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m.

Music by Birmingham’s Ruth Elaine Schram “deftly and passionately captures the pathos of the event,” while the disciples each give a short monologue about their life, according to Schram’s website.

The actors are comprised of church members, UM students and the Baptist Christian Ministry director from the university.

Following the presentation, communion will be served to the congregation.

“You always come away feeling like we’ve been where Jesus was,” Terry Davis, minister of music for Montevallo First Baptist Church, said.

The event is free and open to the public, and a reception will follow the service.
