Police respond to domestic dispute, find two stabbed

MONTEVALLO—Montevallo police are investigating a domestic dispute that ended in two people being stabbed, according to Montevallo Police Chief Jeremy Littleton.

Police responded to domestic dispute call at an apartment on the100 block of Comanche Street at 10 p.m. on April 10, and discovered a 20-year-old man and 24-year-old woman both suffering from stab wounds.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals. As of April 11, one victim has been released, but the other victim is still hospitalized with serious injuries.

“This is an isolated incident and poses no threat to the community,” Littleton said.

The 20-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were the only ones involved in the incident, Littleton said, and no charges have been made at this time.

“We are still investigating the incident,” Littleton said.
