Ferrol V. Smith, age 93, of Columbiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on July 25 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Rev. Roger Hand officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on July 25 at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Smith; parents, L.D. and Estelle Cheek Hand; and a brother, Erskine Hand.  She is survived by her sisters, Latrelle Anderson (Frederick) and Gayle Austin; sister-in-law, Gladys Hand; aunt, Veomi Kiintsler (100 years old); and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
