Two tough games in the span of five days have seen the Kingwood Christian Lions play host to a couple of AISA powerhouses, with the end result being a defeat for the Lions each time.

On Oct. 13, Kingwood hosted Restoration Academy to make up for a weather-postponed contest, and the Lions fell 38-0.

On Oct. 17, Kingwood took on Tuscaloosa Academy at home, and while a strong showing in the first half, the Lions fell 41-12.

Kingwood trailed only by eight at the half, 20-12, but TA turned up the offense in the second half to take the win.
