Cornerstone takes road win over SMCA

The Cornerstone Christian School Chargers traveled to Grady on Oct. 23 to take on the South Montgomery County Academy Raiders. The Chargers rolled in the contest, taking a 47-12 win.

Ian Briggs finished 7-of-13 passing for 152 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 55 yards in the process, while Quartez Walker had 53 yards and a score, and Chase Kitchens had a rushing score as well.

Cade Adams led all receivers with four catches for 128 yards and three touchdowns, while Logan Tucker paced the defense with 11 tackles. Matthew Fondren posted a sack and WAlker had a fumble recovery.

The Chargers return home to take on Southern Academy on Oct. 31.
