Kristie Lynette Wright Lewis

Kristie Lynette Wright Lewis died peacefully surrounded by loved friends and family Thursday,Oct. 2 at Heartland Regional MC in St. Joseph, Mo. She had been recovering from a prolonged illness. She had moved from Ala. and Tenn. where she lived for several years. She returned to St. Joseph to care for her Mother when she fell ill. Kristie was a graduate of Benton High School 1984. Kristie was a member of Amazing Grace Worship Center in Alabaster but had began attending Cornerstone Community Church in Savannah. She loved Country Gospel music and had been a fan for many years. Her favorite groups include Full Life Trio, Mark209 and The Kingsmen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, RC and Bertha Jewel (Short) Wright of St. Joseph, Mo. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, James Alan Lewis; her step- son, James Alan Lewis Jr, and step-daughter Carrielegh Ann Lewis of Ala.

There will be a Homegoing Memorial Service Friday, Nov. 21 at Amazing Grace Worship Center on Hwy 31 Alabaster. For further info call 205-746-7546.
