VINCENT–The Vincent Lady Yellow Jackets had trouble holding on to the ball Friday night at home against the Childersburg Lady Tigers.

The Jackets turned the ball over 30 times in the 43-23 loss, while the visiting Tigers turned it over 18 times.

Quenessa Crawford led the Jackets with 10 points and five rebounds.  Crawford was the only player for both teams to finish with 10 or more points.

The Tigers finished the half on a 19-7 run, giving them a 26-10 lead going into the break.

Despite better defensive play in the second half, the deficit proved too much for Vincent to overcome.

The Jackets drop their fourth game of the season, while Childersburg moves to 4-2.

Vincent plays Thorsby in the first round of the Shelby County Tournament Dec. 12, while Childersburg plays host to B.B. Comer Dec. 13.
