Brandy Lee Martin, 40, of Pelham, passed away Dec. 18. He was born in Jefferson County, Alabama on April 18, 1974.
Brandy graduated from Indian Springs School and earned his college degree from Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro. He enjoyed a career in ministry with 180 Degrees Ministries.
Brandy’s passions included his three precious children and his loving parents, music, hiking, reading, learning, and Alabama Crimson Tide football.
His late grandparents were Edward Paul Jones and Ruby Thrash Jones, and Parker Martin and Elizabeth Dennis Martin.
Survivors include Brandy’s daughter, Noelle; two sons, Parker and Evan; parents, Roy and Charlotte Martin of Pelham; aunts, Margie Martin of Pelham and Marge Martin of Jacksonville, Florida; uncle, Roger Jones of Pelham; several cousins; numerous friends, and Steve Austin and the team of 180 Degrees Ministries.
Visitation was from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21 at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The celebration of Brandy’s life will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22 in Ridout’s Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, with burial following at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. The Rev. Mark Boyd will officiate.
