Brenda Kay Hyde, 70, of Jemison, passed away Wednesday, March 25.
She was born in Shelby County, Alabama on Aug. 17, 1944.
Brenda Kay was married to William Earl Hyde on Feb. 4, 1960. She worked as a waitress for Quincy’s Steak House for 21 years.
Preceding Brenda Kay in death were her father, Herman Boothe; mother, Grace Holsomback Boothe; husband, William Earl Hyde; daughter, Christie Lynn Hyde; grandson, Justin Earl Hyde; brothers, Jr. Boothe and Orlee Boothe; sister, Billie Boothe; father-in-law, Norman Hyde; mother-in-law, Loree Jenkins Hyde; and brother-in law, Ronald Hyde.
Survivors include Brenda Kay’s sons, Willie Hyde (Connie), Darron Hyde (Tabatha), and Timmy Hyde (Michelle); grandchildren, April Isbell (Stewart), Wade Hyde (Courtney), Samantha Helms (Jared), and Jeremy Hyde; great-grandchildren, Justin Earl Hyde Jr. and Bella Alberts; sister, Christine Hyde (Clayton); brother-in-law, Donald Hyde; sister-in–law, Billie Boothe; uncle, Edgar Holsomback; and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The celebration of Brenda Kay’s life will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 29 in Ridout’s Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, and burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Pea Ridge. Rev. Stephen Cannon will officiate.
