Deputies find missing Maylene man

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has reunited a 37-year-old Maylene man with his family after the man went missing for multiple days.

On Sept. 22, the Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help in locating Luis Rojas, who had been missing for multiple days. The Sheriff’s Office issued a request for public assistance in locating Luis Rojas, who had been last seen at his Maylene residence while wearing blue jeans and a red and white striped shirt.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Rojas has a history of depression.

On Oct. 1, the Sheriff’s Office reported Rojas had been located safe, and had been reunited with his family.

“(Shelby County) Sheriff (John) Samaniego would like to thank everyone for their assistance in locating Mr. Rojas,” read a post on the Sheriff Office Facebook page.
