Grover Eugene “Gene” Hathcock

Grover Eugene “Gene” Hathcock, passed away March 5th, 2016 at the age of 80.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ressie Frances Chandler and Grover Cleveland Hathcock; four brothers and one sister.

Gene is survived by his companion, Carol Killingsworth; sister, Frances Bulger; grandson, Christopher Powell; as well as a host of nephews and nieces.

Gene proudly served his country in the National Guard for 10 years.

There will be a graveside service at Southern Heritage Cemetery on Monday, March 7 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the humane society of your choice or St. Jude’s Hospital in Gene’s name.
