Richard Harless, age 82, of Columbiana, died Friday, March 4.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 at Bolton Funeral Home. Bro. Phillip Rush will be presiding. Burial will follow in Shelby Garden of Rest.  Visitation will be from 1:30-3 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 at Bolton Funeral Home.

He was a deacon at Antioch Baptist Church in Columbiana. He loved gardening and working. He was a Mason since 1960 and earned his 50 year pin in 2010.

Mr. Harless is preceded in death by his parents, beloved grandson, Eric Dawson Harless; and sister, Peggie Partridge.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Harless; sons, Steve Harless (Hattie) and Mark Harless (Terri); daughter, Jennifer Brown (Vincent Jr.); step-daughter, JoAnna Stelzer (Graham); step-son, Brian Isbell (Christy); sisters, Martha Davis (J.D.), Ann Morris, Jean Partridge, and Paula Barrier; brother, Ronnie Harless (Janet); grandchildren, Jennifer Galloway (Heath), April Vogel (Adam), Jordan Harless (Tiffany), Ashley Brown, Vince Brown, and Taylor Brown.
