ALABASTER – Alabaster’s Soldiers of the Cross ministries is hosting a free home ownership workshop at its campus off Alabama 119 on Saturday, April 9.

The event, which is free and open to the public at Soldiers of the Cross at 719 Fourth Place Southwest, will begin at 3 p.m.

The event will feature financial advisors, real estate agents and interior decorators, who will be available to talk to and share advice with those in attendance.

Information will also be available on ways to clean up credit and on special programs available for those looking to purchase a home.

The workshop is aimed at helping locals learn how to purchase a home even if they have poor credit.
