Fourth Music in the Park will feature ’80s, ’90s hits

MT LAUREL — Iron City Magic will play hits from the 1980s and ’90s at the fourth annual Music in the Park event on Sunday, May 7, at the park in Mt Laurel.

Food and fun will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 5:30 pm.

Music in the Park is a free community event hosted by Double Oak Community Church.

In addition to the complementary live music, free bounce houses will be available for kids, and some of the area’s favorite food trucks will have food for purchase, including Cantina, Greg’s HotDogs, Fat Boy BBQ, Encore Rouge, Hero Donuts and Steel City Pops.

Attendees can bring a blanket and chairs with your friends and family and enjoy this event.

Double Oak Community Church is located in the town of Mt Laurel, 115 Olmsted Street, Birmingham, just off Shelby County 41.

Worship services are each Sunday at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., with nursery, preschool, children’s and student activities offered as well.
