HHS hosting summer soccer camp June 5-9

HELENA–The Helena High School soccer programs have had some successful seasons the past few years, and for five days this summer, any children wishing to learn fundamentals and receive instructions on the game of soccer can sign up for the HHS Soccer Summer Camp.

The camp runs from June 5-9 and is open to any children interested in learning soccer who are entering first through seventh grade.

The camp is sponsored by the Helena High School and Helena Huskie Soccer Club. The five-day camp will be each day from 8 a.m. to noon at the HHS practice fields.

The cost of the camp is $125 and includes a T-shirt, swag bag, drinks and a daily treat. Campers will also receive age and skill specific training from HHS varsity head coaches, assistants and players to help improve each player’s game.

A typical camp day will consist of morning drop-off between 7:45-8 a.m., a morning rally/stretch from 8-8:15 a.m., skill one and skill two from 8:15-9:30 a.m., a water break at 9:30 a.m., skill three and skill four between 9:45-11 a.m., small sided games from 11-11:45 a.m., treat/wrap up at 11:45 a.m. and pickup from the camp between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
