ALABASTER – The left lane of Interstate 65 northbound near mile marker 239, just north of the Probst Promenade exit, is closed following a wreck that occurred at about 4 p.m. Aug. 20.

In a Facebook post shortly after the wreck, the Alabaster Police Department urged motorists to use caution in the area because of debris on the roadway.

The department will post an update when all lanes of the interstate are reopened, the post read.
