INTERNSHIP GRAPHIC DESIGN

Published Tuesday, July 1, 2008

The Shelby County Reporter, a dynamic community newspaper nestled in suburban Birmingham is opening a graphic design internship to assist in advertising design (print & web), and newspaper layout. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level designers to hone their craft in Alabama’s fastest growing, most affluent county.

We are a Mac-based office, and a working knowledge of either QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign and Photoshop are a must. Knowledge of Macromedia Flash and or Dreamweaver is helpful but not necessary.

To apply, email a resume, small selection of work samples and references to: tim.prince@shelbycountyreporter.com or mail to: Tim Prince, Publisher, P.O. Box 947, Columbiana, AL 35051. No phone calls please.
