OMMS raises more than $25,000 for Toys for Tots

Oak Mountain Middle School students have once again exceeded their fundraising goal for the annual Toys for Tots campaign, raising $25,746.

The school’s annual Toys for Tots drive, has raised more than $250,000 since 1999.

The school holds the national record for the largest school donation with $42,000 raised in 2006.

The Oak Mountain Toys for Tots project is led by the National Jr. Honor Society.

The school’s National Junior Honor Society students will spend the money on new toys at the Toys-R-Us in Hoover Dec. 17.
