Money Smart workshop set

With the urgent need for financial literacy in today’s economy, First United Security Bank, along with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., is offering a free Money Smart Train-the-Trainer workshop and luncheon at First United Security Bank’s Calera Office on Wednesday, June 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Workshop speakers will be John Olsen, FDIC, and David Comer, loan officer and assistant branch manager for First United Security Bank’s Calera Office. Register by calling David at First United Security Bank in Calera at 668-0425, or email dcomer@firstusbank.com.

The workshop will give practical experience in training youth and adults about financial literacy.
