Montevallo man killed in Chilton County wreck

A Montevallo man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck in Chilton County Saturday.
Richard L. Haynes, 62, was traveling on Alabama Highway 155 north of Jemison when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree, according to the Alabama State Troopers office. Haynes died at the scene.
A dog riding with Haynes was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the Chilton County Humane Society.
The accident remains under investigation.
