Grammy and Dove Award-nominated gospel group Karen Peck and New River will perform at the Wilsonville God and Country Celebration Sunday, June 28.
WILSONVILLE — The town of Wilsonville will host its annual God and Country Celebration Sunday, June 28. The event is free and open to the public.
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. downtown, said Cory Cloud, Wilsonville Baptist Church music minister.
“The city will give out barbecue sandwiches and people from the community will sing,” Cloud said. “It’ll be a lot of fun.”
The Grammy and Dove Award-nominated gospel group Karen Peck and New River will perform in concert before fireworks begin at dusk, Cloud said. Children’s activities include inflatable jumpers and slides.
In the event of rain, the celebration will be held inside the Wilsonville Baptist Church gym. Parking will be available at Wilsonville Elementary School.
