Fall festivals to be held

The following area churches will hold fall festivals throughout the month.
Columbiana Church of the Nazarene
Columbiana Church of the Nazarene is hosting a fall festival for the community on Oct. 28 from 6-8 p.m. at their Fellowship Building.
Pelham Church of God
The Pelham Church of God, 2100 Shelby County 52 East, will host their annual fall festival Oct. 31 from 4-6 p.m.
There will be games, hot dogs, cotton candy, pony rides, nachos, clowns, cake walk and lots of candy. For more information, call 664-0120 or 789-7306.
Daystar Worship Center
Daystar Worship Center, located at 5100 Cahaba Valley Road in Birmingham, will host its annual fall festival Oct. 31 from 5-9 p.m.
The event will include food, games, music and competitions for Wii, Xbox, Playstation, jump rope and hula-hoop. There will also be karaoke, face painting and other games. Door prizes will be drawn at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Chelsea Church of God
Chelsea Church of God, 2020 Shelby County 39, Chelsea, will hold their annual fall festival, Oct. 31, 8 a.m.–noon.
It will feature baked goods, theme gift baskets, smoked Boston Butts and more. A country breakfast will be served until 10:30 a.m.
