Sheriff's Reports for the week of September 23, 2009

The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office from Sept. 5-8:

Sept. 5

-Burglary/theft of property from Kings Ranch Drive, Wilsonville. Stolen were $103 in cash, food items, four sets of car keys. Recovered was a 1998 Ford van.

-Harassment from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. (other, unknown). (Suffix 02).

-Domestic violence harassment from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (other, unknown). (Suffix 01).

-Burglary/theft of property from Missouri Road, Shelby. Stolen were a 2.5 gallon gas can, 2.5 gallons of gas, a gallon of oil, non-alcohol drinks, a 5-gallon gas can and 5 gallons of gas valued at $62.

-Burglary from the 800 block of Highway 77, Columbiana. Stolen was a Honda 300 watt electric start generator valued at $2,700.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from Persimmon Lane, Columbiana.

-Domestic violence/harassment from the 2400 block of Forest Lakes Lane, Sterrett.

-Death investigation from the 200 block of Kendrick Road, Chelsea.

Sept. 6

-Death investigation (hospice) from the 300 block of Wade Drive. Listed as damaged/destroyed was medication.

-Failure to register as sex offender from the 100 block of Doug Baker Boulevard, Birmingham (drug store).

-Theft of property from the 7800 block of Highway 155, Montevallo. Stolen was a .22 long rifle single shot bolt action firearm valued at $100, a pump action pellet item valued at $40 and a box of 6000 BBs valued at $10.

-Domestic violence from the 200 block of County Road 204, Montevallo.

-Reckless endangerment from Brook Highland Parkway and Meadow Drive (highway, street).

-Minor in consumption of alcohol from Valleydale Road/Inverness Lane, Birmingham (highway, street).

-Theft of property (shoplifting) from the 16000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (department store). Stolen were Neutrogena skin care valued at $21.57 and a Jesus decal valued at $6.76.

-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Miller Drive, Vincent.

-Trespassing from the 800 block of Ash Brook Trail, Chelsea.

-Criminal mischief from the 300 block of Clairmont, Birmingham. Damaged was a mailbox.

-Domestic investigation from the 3000 block of Riverwood Terrace.

-Domestic investigation from the 5100 block of Lee Street Drive, Birmingham.

-Harassment from Brookhighland Lane, Birmingham (parking lot, garage).

-Theft of property from Eagle Park Road, Birmingham. Stolen was a Waste Management trashcan.

-Harassing communications from the 3600 block of Highway 55, Wilsonville (restaurant).

-Domestic investigation from Persimmon Lane, Columbiana.

-Allowing dogs to run at large from the 800 block of Highway 71, Shelby.

-Domestic investigation from the 2500 block of Highway 61, Columbiana.

-Domestic violence-assault from Steeplechase lane, Vincent.

-Domestic violence-assault from the 1000 block of Ozley Road, Alabaster.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Ivy lane, Vandiver. Stolen was a Kenmore Elite dishwasher valued at $1,500 and a Trane heat pump valued at $2,000. Damaged was a double pane storm window in the amount of $150.

-Domestic violence -assault from the 100 block of Church Drive, Montevallo.

-Domestic violence-harassment from Sugar Cane Lane, Maylene.

-Rape/assault from Highway 280, Birmingham.

-Interference with the custody of a child/harassing communications from Central State Bank, Calera (parking lot, garage).

Sept. 7

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Water Oak Street. Listed was damaged, destroyed were medications.

-Domestic violence from the 2600 block of County Road 30, Columbiana.

-Burglary from the 600 block of Heatherbrooke road, Birmingham.

-Burglary from the 600 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.

-Civil dispute from the 2600 block of Highway 37, Shelby.

-Leaving the scene of an accident from the 2900 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville (highway, street). Damaged was a driver’s side mirror in the amount of $400.

-Suicide attempt from County Road 39, Chelsea.

-Theft of property from unknown. Listed as stolen was a vehicle tag valued at $75.80.

-Civil dispute/child custody from the 400 block of Highway 418, Leeds.

-Domestic investigation from the 4700 block of Heatherbrooke Parkway.

-Domestic violence-assault from the 8800 block of Highway 55, Harpersville.

-Harassment from Kenley Way, Birmingham.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Calumet Drive, Birmingham.

Sept. 8

-Receiving stolen property from County Road 17 at County Road 26, Alabaster (highway, street). Confiscated, seized were an air compressor and a hose for the compressor.

-Harassing communications from the 500 block of County Road 406, Shelby.

-Property damage from the 1000 block of County Road 5, Columbiana (highway, street). Damaged were a front bumper, left front quarter panel and hood for a Nissan Versa in the amount of $1,400.

-Possession of controlled substance/unlawful possession marijuana from the 1100 block of Meadow Drive.

-Theft of property from the 1500 block of Inverness lane, Birmingham (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a vehicle tag.

-Harassing communications from the 5800 block of Highway 25, Montevallo.

-Harassing communications/criminal trespassing from the 2600 block of Highway 37, Shelby.

-Vehicle accident from Highway 70 and McDow Drive, Columbiana (other, unknown). Damaged was a 2008 Dodge Charger.

-Probation order violation from the 2700 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville.

-Fire investigation from Meadow Drive, Birmingham. Damaged was a building structure with fire, smoke and water.

-Theft of property from the 4500 block of County Road 18, Montevallo (other, unknown).

-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 2600 block of Highway 30, Columbiana.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham. Stolen was a Suzuki 2007 motorcycle valued at $10,000.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Highway 39, Chelsea (storage facility). Stolen were 80 feet of cooper wire valued at $604, 15 200-foot rolls of copper valued at $1,985.85 and soft wire valued at $394.50. Damaged included two holes in a chain link fence

-Missing person from Highway 47, Shelby.

-Burglary from Highway 440, Chelsea.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Brynleigh Drive, Chelsea. Stolen and recovered were jewelry items and a pink overnight bag.
