County could see snow Feb. 12
Published Monday, February 8, 2010
Shelby County could see its first significant snowfall of the year Feb. 12, according to the National Weather Service.
Meteorologists are forecasting a 60 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day, and are predicting snow could begin falling on the area at about midnight Feb. 11.
But meteorologists said Feb. 8 they had not yet predicted a snowfall total for the area.
“It’s still a little too far out to predict snowfall totals right now,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Jim Westland. “A little change in the track of that front between now and then can make a big difference.”

I'm thinking all rain. We get all excited about the "potential" of snow only to wake up to only rain. :(

That's kinda how I feel about the snow predictions here lately.
