County to celebrate birthday

The Shelby County Historical Society, along with the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and the South Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, will host a 192nd birthday celebration for the county Feb. 7.
The Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and the South Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The First Baptist Church of Pelham will furnish special music and the keynote speaker will be Shelby County Probate Judge Jim Fuhrmeister. Refreshments furnished by several Shelby County businesses will be served at various locations.
