Graveside service for Mary Elizabeth Hill, 87, of Wilsonville, is set for Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at 1 p.m. at William T. Tinney Family Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, from 6–8 p.m., at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Mrs. Hill, who passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at a local nursing home, was born March 4, 1921 in Talladega.
She was a loving mother, with a lifelong hobby in genealogy, Shelby County history and Wilsonville history where she lived.
She is survived by her sons, John Stanley (Dorean) Hill, Jerry Rand (Janis) Hill; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home is directing.

I'm sorry I didn't know of Mary Elizabeth's passing. She was a good friend, a determined genealogist and an entertaining cousin. I will miss her and I regret not being more in touch this past year. Lucy Ray
