Shirley Barrett Maltz

Shirley Barrett Maltz, age 56, passed away on Oct. 5, 2008.
She had a giving spirit and loved all she met. Her grandchildren were her life. She will be missed by family and numerous friends.
Ms. Maltz was preceded in death by her husband, Al Maltz.
She is survived by her son, David Martin Barrett Sr. (Pattie); parents, Charles E. and Ruth S. Barrett; grandchildren, David Martin “Buddy” Barrett Jr. and Adrianna Marie Barrett; great-granddaughter, Tenjeya Y. Nelms; sister, Charlotte Barrett (Gerald) Vines; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be prior to the funeral services on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Rideout’s Roebuck Chapel Funeral Home.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. in Forrest Hill Cemetery. Service conducted by the Rev. Richard C. Trucks, Third Presbyterian Church.
