Most of the voters on this week’s online poll support immediate war against Sadaam Hussein and Iraq.

It is clear from the information gathered by previous weapons inspectors and intelligence agencies that Iraq has never ceased to store weapons or to develop the means to wreak chemical and biological havoc.

Despite the conditions placed on Hussein and his country following the Gulf War, they continued to develop, store and attempt to obtain weapons of mass destruction.

As our president said on Monday night in an address to the nation, Sadaam Hussein is a &uot;grave threat to peace.&uot;

President Bush and other leaders in Washington, our own Sen. Richard Shelby included, have concluded that the only option left is war against him.

President Bush said: &uot;After 11 years during which we have tried containment, sanctions, inspections, even selected military action, the end result is that Sadaam Hussein still has chemical and biological weapons, and is increasing his capacities to make more. And he is moving ever closer to developing a nuclear weapon.

&uot;The time for denying, deceiving and delaying has come to an end. Sadaam Hussein must disarm himself &045; or for the sake of peace, we will lead a coalition to disarm him.&uot;

Let’s get behind our leaders. The time for caution is past. The time for action is now.

Our country can and will defeat the terror regime of Sadaam Hussein
