THS to host basketball camp

Thompson High School will play host to the 2002 Warrior Christmas Basketball Camp on Dec. 26 and 27 for all second through ninth grade boys and girls.

Players will be grouped by age and ability.

The camp, which will cost $50 per camper pre-registered and $60 per camper walk-up, will be under the direction of Jeff Nichols, Thompson High School boys head coach.

The camp schedule will be as follows:

8 a.m., registration

9 a.m., roll call

9:10 a.m., ball handling

9:30 a.m., shooting stations

9:45. rebounding stations

10 a.m., passing stations

10:15 a.m., break

10:30 a.m., 3-on-3 games

11:20 a.m., free throws

11:30 a.m., lunch

12:00, free shooting

12:30 p.m., hot shot

1:00 p.m., gotcha

1:30 p.m., 5-on-5 games

2:00 p.m., break

2:15 p.m., 5-on-5 games

2:45 p.m., beat the &uot;Pro&uot;

3 p.m., camp ends

The director and coaches will remain at the camp site until 4 p.m. for parent pickup.

Campers may bring a snack for break and may bring a sack lunch. Drinks and snacks will be sold for break and pizza and drinks will be sold for lunch.

Drinks will cost $.50, pizza $1.00 and chips $.75.

Each camper will receive a Baden Attitude basketball and a camp T-shirt.
