All alumni and friends of Auburn University have a chance to bring their children to meet Aubie at the Oak Mountain Petting Farm on Sunday, June 22.

Aubie will appear from 2-2:45 p.m. and from 3-3:45 p.m. at the petting farm.

The petting farm hours are 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Kids can have their pictures taken with Aubie, interact with dozens of gentle animals, register to win prizes, and the entire family can have a picnic, go horseback riding, canoeing or fishing nearby.

Call Oak Mountain State Park for rentals or reservations.

Children can meet and pet horses, miniature horses, cows, donkeys, chickens, ducks, goats, peacocks, sheep, rabbits and more.

The event is free, but a small donation to the Shelby County Auburn Club would be appreciated.

The Shelby County Auburn Club exists to foster the Auburn spirit.

The club raises money through membership dues and club events and will fund the first year’s tuition for two Shelby County students attending Auburn this fall.

Cost is $2 for adults, $1 for children 6-11 and ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge
