The Church at Brook Hills will offer worship and Bible study on Saturday evenings beginning Oct. 4, church officials announced recently.

&uot;With over 30 percent of adults working on Sundays, we must offer alternative times for worship and Bible study in order to remain relevant in today’s culture,&uot; senior pastor Rick Ousley said.

&uot;Our Saturday service and relational Bible fellowship classes will make it possible for more people to discover and develop a passion for God at Brook Hills. This new service and these new classes are open to the public, not just members of Brook Hills.&uot;

Adam Robinson will the primary speaker at the Saturday Brook Hills’ service. Robinson is a gifted communicator of the gospel, having preached at many churches throughout the southeast as well as at Brook Hills. His energetic style will be attractive to people of all ages. He will use the same themes the Ousley uses on Sundays, but he will develop his own message for the Saturday service, church officials said.

Music for the Saturday service will be provided by Wes Hampton, minister of worship, and Donald Butler, a Brook Hills member and former worship leader at a Montgomery church.

&uot;Wes and Donald will provide a perfect complement to Adam’s preaching on Saturdays,&uot; said Kelly Stephenson, pastor for worship at Brook Hills. &uot;They are gifted worship leaders, vocalists and musicians, and they will provide a fresh style of leadership for these new services.&uot;

Following the service, the church will offer a range of relational Bible fellowships for persons of all ages and life stages.

&uot;Relational Bible Fellowships are great ways for people to connect in a caring community,&uot; said John Herring, pastor for discipleship at Brook Hills.

&uot;We will be offering classes for adults in all stages of life from young adults to retired adults as well as a quality children’s program. RBFs use the Bible as their textbook, and they are designed to enable the participants to build caring relationships with people in the same stage of life.&uot;

The Saturday service will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 with RBFs immediately following. For information, call the church office at 313-7777
