Luster joins Shelby County Reporter staff

Monica Luster has joined the staff of the Shelby County Reporter as a marketing consultant.

Born and raised in the Birmingham area, she currently resides in Chelsea with her 10-year-old daughter, Allie.

Publisher Tim Prince was excited about the addition to the staff.

&uot;Monica brings a great deal of enthusiasm and experience to our staff,&uot; he said.

&uot;Monica’s track record of meeting and exceeding the expectations of co-workers and customers alike is impressive and we are looking forward to seeing what she will accomplish here.&uot;

Luster is the youngest of three children born to Ralph A. Mark Jr., a retired illustrator for Southern Progress Corporation.

She has an older sister, Tracie, and an older brother, Chip, both of whom reside in Birmingham. She graduated from Homewood High School and spent time at Auburn University and Jefferson State Community College with a focus on business administration.

Luster comes to the Reporter with 10 years experience in sales in the Birmingham area.

Luster said she enjoys running, cooking, traveling and Auburn football
